Shared resources glycan synthesis core

The LID-PEG glycan synthetic core at The Scripps Research Institute synthesizes and distributes glycosides prepared via chemo-enzymatic synthesis. These include sialoglycan ligands of siglecs for the LID-PEG projects. The applications of these compounds include:

  • as ligands to assay the binding of recombinant siglecs

  • as nanoparticles to target siglec-expressing leukocytes

  • for isolation of siglec counter-receptors

  • as standards for mass spectrometry

Synthesized ligands will be available to other PEG's, and to investigators outside the PEG program at the discretion of the LID-PEG Executive Committee. A list of compounds and contact information can be found at the following links.
